Pennridge Needs Wi-Fi

On behalf of all students and staff of Pennridge High School, we the Pennridge Change committee, are requesting the opening of Pennridge's Public network. Our devices are becoming greatly present in the classroom to learn. Using handheld devices in the classroom could greatly benefit our 21st Century Learning initiatives. The problem is that, clearly, cellular connection is very poor in the school. And some devices like personal laptops or tablets cannot connect to the internet at all without an established Wi-Fi connection.

It is clear that this infrastructure is already in place as this Public Wi-Fi network sometimes is turned on. There are not any good reasons to keep it off. As it is understood, the Pennridge IT department just needs to flip a switch since the blocking service provided by iBoss carries throughout the network.

In the comments field, give us good reasons to open the wi-fi to add to the numerous list we currently have.
